Back in the 90's I put my boat in - in the parking lot, it was flooded, the game warden told us it wasn't a good idea, but we had drove 3 hours and we were going to fish some how, ended up fishing all night.

We were disappointed that the weather did not allow the Wounded Warriors Fishing Festival, but with Capp's tournament next weekend, we did not want to waste a day getting in some fishing. Obviously, the big news on Jordan is that on Sept. 25, the water level was 212.5. I just looked at the automated lake level on Jordan and it is a fraction from being at 218. Here's the weblink if you want to follow the lake level: To view recent flows and stages in the Cape Fear River Basin
As you can see from the picture, we found fish biting, but the wind kept us from fishing the main place we wanted to go. We went down near the S-curves at one time and there were some serious white caps and waves for Jordan. Thought I was down at Morehead City for a little bit.
This one went a little under 13". Same story as last week--find the shad and you will find crappie. We fished only minnows today. This is two Saturdays in a row that we have fished in rain and wind. It was also quite chilly out on the boat as you can tell by the way Charles is dressed.

Sounds like more fun than I had...working on putting the basement back together
That's impressive!
Ha! It will be time soon!
Awesome job guys. If you guys make it down to Harris this weekend I'll see you there. I plan to be on Harris Friday night, Saturday evening and night and Sunday afternoon and evening. I'm gonna spend some serious time on the water this weekend.
