Been catching them on jigs at the home lake pretty slow crank bite lately, but on the home lake we are starting to see them school up tight staging for the fall feed. Little do they know I'm the one feeding . Just cooked some up I marinated in lemon pepper seasoning oh my I need more.

I have plenty of room in the boat also, i will be solo slab or anyone else who needs to hitch a ride, i have all the fishing equip and don't use live bait just southern pro tubes in many colors. Arkansas has ruined me, don't need no live bait.![]()

Yes Pat, i was in the woods yesterday and found two, i think the best is yet to come next week when it warms up. Maybe south by you it may be better due to all the rain this year, still a little dry in the woods. These next two weeks they will be popping up for sure. Best little critters to fry or jar.
