Thread: pond yesterday

Fish must be starting to bite, if I can catch some. Fished from noon til 4:45. Didn't catch any crapppie til 2:30 or so. Don't know if they started to bite or I found them. One 5lb 8oz greenie on the smallest jig I have. Three largest crappie were 1lb to 1lb 5oz., kept 24 threw several back, Not many dinks just one or two. Rain suit most all time. Wind most of the time. But all in all not a bad day for one person.

Nice catch, I was going until 5am when I looked at the radar.
