    SCE you must have that area all to yourself as we see very little posting about that area. Perhaps you can spread the word about CDC and get some locals on board. By the way, those are some nice fish. Thanks for the report.

    Its a oxbow cutoff from Bayou Macon. There are 3 that run from below i-20 south of Delhi, down to Gilbert
    The first is called Bakers cut-off, the second is just out of Crowville, and I forget what its called, and the 3rd is Lyles cut-off just east of Gilbert. they are fishing lakes, no ski boats ( to many stumps) . they have Bass tournaments from time to time.
    My wife and I have a small camp on the lake and we enjoy drinking our coffee and fishing a little while in the mornings and evenings. The lake is from 100 yards to 150 yards wide and I dont now how many miles from one end to the other, but its a ways.

    Ok thanks. I've heard of bakers but can't remember the name of the next lake either

    That area around Crowville is known as Crockett Point.Great spot as well.I use to fish Bakers a lot.Great fishing but loaded with gators.
