Thanks for all the nice comments. been fishing spillway out of Morgan city and bayou black. A few slow days that were still productive but for most part since river started falling it has been really good. Caught some really nice size fish for our area the last few weeks putting boat in shop for some long needed fiberglass work tomorrow so looks like I'll have the hunting keep me busy the next couple weeks (some pond fishing mixed in also while hunting). Might bum a trip or two with friends in between hunts
And gene not sure who you were discussing me with but yeah I'm alive and well. Just always packing 36 hours in a 24 hour day so haven't posted but will try to more soon. Do read post daily though to keep up

And p.s. I've been hiding in plain view lol. Some trips with the other hundred boats in turtle bayou. More recently in some highly productive lesser known places that are my favorites
