Yesterday I was running arkies and bandit 300s with 35 to 50 feet out

To get started and see if you like it. ..you can use rods and reels you have just make a mark on your rods 2 feet ahead of reel and use charts to get on target
most of the time my rod tips are drag'n the surface

All those numbers makes it feel a little to complimakated for my pea brain. I'm thinking to many hangups around here for that.

these cranks bounce off of most stuff...been holding my rods and its a hoot....some of the strikes feel like some whoppers....
