    Default I can only hope

That you guys that went to Monroe this morning caught some fish. But let me back up some. I usually eat breakfast at the house and then head to work but this morning I had to go a bit later so I figured I'd get a fast food b-fast and ease on to work off the interstate. All is going as planned and I have a coffee in the holder and a sammich in my hand and a horn toots alongside me. I look over and it's Huntinslabs and his crew headed to the ramp with the boat behind. Bad enough I have to work and the boat aint legal and now I got be teased on the way to where given the choice I wouldn't go on a Saturday. Stopped and said hello to Mike and Andy pulls up behind. Said Hello and had to go to be on time. No wind as I went over the bridge and sun just warming the sky. It's been hard to concentrate all day, especially when I went over Jesup and it was just screaming for company.
OK guys, give it up. I need to hear some fish stories.

That's where the wife and daughter and son in law went, along with the french bulldog. They said it was fun but hot.

Well Skeet, I was 1 of those boiling OTW, the short HOT!! Your O.T. pay will serve you well to buy tackle for when the fish are biting, fished 6 hrs boated 8 & 4 were smaller then my hand. To add to the patience factor was the pulling of floating trash off lines in every area I fished. It's days like this that humble you............Did I say I'm not complaining?

Decided at 9 to load up and get some chores done. Went home and put boat away and headed to Lukas Nursery and bought 3 trees to plant in the yard. Got them planted and headed to Home Depot and picked up a pallet of zoysia grass and went home and laid sod. So you aint missed much Skeetbum, unless ya enjoy laying sod. Water was beautiful on top, weeds everywhere, bait everywhere, just couldnt get em going today. Had 2 captive inspecting livewell and 3 dinks released after 2 hours pullin. All got passes today.

Thanks guys. I had high hopes that you had all had a banner day even if I wasn't able to play along. I Have had times when we packed up and changed lakes and not done well there either. Better next time, glad you got to go anyway, and good to see y'all this morning. At least you didn't have to slave at the cleaning table.

Had about the same tally as speck detector. Marking a lot of fish but few takers, passed by Jeff and complain we couldn't even catch any gar. Well two minutes later Dave catches one. Picked two quick 12 inchers mid lake and thought we were onto something then nothing but one more dink. Packed up and came home around 11. May go back to Harney next week.
