Lowrance waypoints to humminbird
I have a question for you guys. Is there a way to transfer lowrance waypoints to a humminbird and vice verse. I'm not real handy with a computer so if anyone came help it would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a HDS touch 7 and would like to copy to my new HB helix. Might need a bit more guidance in this. I know how to save to SD and reload to same band DF but never tried converting from one to other.

Use this to export from the HDS to SD Card in usr or gpx format ...(HBPC will recognize either) ...
HDS export waypoints
Then use this to get the waypoints thru HBPC and back onto the SD Card for uploading into the HB unit ...

This was a question for my buddy and I believe he has the elite 5 and 7. He just purchased a 859. And was wanting his waypoints.

When you save your Waypoints from Lowrance to a SD card, be sure to save as Version 2 or GPX. Humminbird PC or GPSBabel will NOT convert Version 4 Lowrance to Humminbird format (GPX)
