SeaRay thanks again for putting this together. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everybody. A bunch of great guys. I can't wait for the next one, just give me a weeks notice so I can put in for the day at work.

Well our first local CDC luncheon was held today. We had 6 members come in for some food and fellowship. Gerald, Robert, Don, Mark, Chuck and I met at 1 today for a good lunch and visit. Many stories were told and most had a ring of truth to them, except for Robert's tail about the 2 snakes. I think he drove all the way down here (100 miles) just to share that story. Nobody went away hungry, especially after dessert. I hope Uncle Remus made it back to the upstate without falling asleep, a feat I myself am having difficulty doing.
Good to meet a new member, Chuck, who is NTSC358 on the site.
Got a note from a couple more who were out of town and could not make it.
We will have another one before too long so you will get another chance.
SeaRay
PS
I will email everyone a copy of the contact list we made today, probably in the morning if I don't forget it.

Where's the pictures Ray? One of these days I may be in the area. If so, we'll have a grilled cheese sandwich together.

You got it Randy. We might do better than a grilled cheese though. Wiped out an entire pecan grove today, what with all the Pecan Pie we ate.
On the pictures, I got this crappy flip phone that takes terrible pictures. The one I had previously did a great job, I just got to take the time to change the phone out.

Thanks Ray I enjoyed meeting everybody and the fellowship. I got home and left 30 mins later to meet my brother and his wife for supper at Red Lobster. Needless to say I am stuffed. Don
If I had to eat another meal after that lunch I would burst. I had the 12 oz. steak, but the pecan pie and ice cream was the coup de grace. Had a protein shake about 30 minutes ago, still full.

I was asked to grill out steaks and vegetables for everybody around 5:30. So happy wife happy life.
I don't know where y'all put another meal and Mark you had the same size steak I did, but you skipped dessert if I remember right. The pie put me over the top. By the way if you are on Facebook here is a link to our Wildlife Club. The garage sale is next Saturday. We got a ton of stuff and several rod and reels that were donated by Silstar that were too heavy for our kids fishing clinics. Brand new, never used. Also saw some spools of braid too.

Thanks Ray I will check it out. Yes you are right I did skip dessert so that left room for a steak and grilled vegetables.![]()
