Very nice, if I had deer like that to hunt my fishin poles would prolly rot !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

TN is now a 2 buck state. My daughter will be the shooter this Saturday afternoon, hopefully we can get a good wind and get her on one of these.

man alive, that is awesome. i miss days like that here in wisconsin. thank you idiot doe killers and wolves! reminds me of a joke though....

one time there was a deer farmer down in alabama, and he decided to get a big buck from wisconsin to breed his stock. when the truck with the big stag arrived to unload, a trio of alabama bucks watched from the safety of the brush.

the biggest of the three, a 10 pt, said "well, i dont know who this buck thinks he is, but i have about a dozen does i am taking care of, and he cant have a single one!" .

the next biggest, an 8 pt, says "well...i have about 8 does i take care of, and im not givin one up either, not without a knock-down,drag out fight".

the third, a nubbin buck, says "i have a little yearling doe ive been courting, and im not givin her up for anything!".

with that they all puff up and wait for the gate to drop. when it does, out steps the big buck from the north country. massive, thick 12 pt rack, about 300lbs of rippling muscle.
the 10 pointer says "you know...i AM gettin a little long in the tooth....if that buck wants to help me take care of a few does, i guess i dont mind."

the 8 pter says "yeah you know, i see how stressed out you are and decrepit in your later stages...so i figure if ole big boy wants a few of my does...he can have right at it."

the nubber looks at the 10 and the 8, and without a word streaks across the meadow and headbutts that big buck right between the eyes! the 10 pt yells "what are you doin man! that thing will kill you!!"

the nubber yells back "i just wanna make sure he knows i'm a buck!"

She had the tall 8 pt (deer in 4th pic) at 30 yds Saturday afternoon but it was in the standing corn and hard to see. It stayed in the open food plot at 45 yds for a while, just further than I am comfortable with her shooting the crossbow right now. She is deadly at 30 yds though! Had an encounter with another 8 pt Sunday morning with about the exact same scenario... The season has just begun though!

I have a new video camera so hopefully I will have a good hunt put together of her shooting one to watch soon.

You got it going on in your food plot. I always like to see photos of hard work paying off. Thanks for sharing!
