Thread: Wind direction

If it's much over 8 mph it will hurt you on 3 out of the four, you won't care if the fish are biting. Have caught a lot of fesh with an East wind, getting in fishable water is more of an issue than the bite is for me.

East is least most of the time.

Wind from the North, do not go forth.

I followed this pretty close when I green carp fished a good bit, crappie is a different story, for me at least.

On a related issue (maybe)...when do the begin to pull the lakes down, or has it started??
