My dad always uses the Jerry McGinnis loop knot and so do I. Cuz, who usually beats me uses the palomar. To each his own. GTT

I actually use the cinch knot, not the palomar, 5-6 twist and line back through loop , wet and pull tight , clip off tag, good to go

I use the Palomar most of the time. Used the Huckabee loop knot for a couple of years, but I seem to get a better hook set with the Palomar. Just my preference. I know some good fishermen that use the loop with great success.

don't think it really matters as long as your line doesn't break and the hook come off while you are pulling that 2 1/2 pounder into the boat

I use a medium fas-snap tied on with a cinch knot. Makes changing out jig heads, well... a snap.

I use a small simple over hand loop knot, easy to tie, keeps bait horizontal and fluid in water and no constant knot adjustment. Can it be out fished by a direct line tie you bet ya, but in the end I never haft to worry about knot adjustment and I have a natural and horizontal movement on my jig at all times.

A simple knot you can tye real fast when you just lost a jig ,the fish are biting and you like one fish having your limit.
