    Default Lake Arthur 9/13/15

Made a trip Sunday with my 11 yr. old son. We had 5 sacs and 2 Bass. All were caught about 3' deep under a cork on structure that was in about 7 fow using shiners. We had to end the day early because I got a massive headache, but I tell you what the excitement he had when he caught his 3 keepers made it so worth it. He's hooked!

I think it was due to lack of sleep. I've always had trouble sleeping before I go fishing ever since I was a kid. But I am feeling better thank you.

And now he has a pack of filet with his name on it. The best eating fish is the ones you catch.

Hey Mermentau no better feeling than watching little ones catch and the look on their face.My son never really got into the fishing part surprising though on account of many times that I took him out growing up/But that is okay cause his son/my grandson (7) is making up for that and LOVES to catch them suck-a-laids as he calls them.Hope to see you soon on the water.
