    Default Any tips for Tillery?

Going to Tillery tomorrow morning with some buddies staying till Sunday morning. I really want to put these fellas on some fish. They enjoying fishing, but they have never really got into a good mess of fish. I know I'm going to take them to the dam first thing in the morning and try to catch some cats, but I'm also taking all my crappie gear. I mainly fish Harris and do decent there, but never really crappie fished on Tillery. Any info is appreciated just want these guys to have a good time. I ain't asking for honey holes but just some general info would be great!

I will be there Friday evening and fish into the night. We had been catching some last month at night using minnows in 15-18 foot of water. Its been about 3 weeks since we've been, so not sure what to expect. We're just gong to move around a little and see if we can mark some fish, and pick a good spot to anchor down and fish.

If you have lights to fish at night that would be your best bet to catch a lot of fish. Just set up off a point in 30 feet of water. The bass have been hitting good late in the evening off red clay banks. Good luck
