    I am not catching crappie! June 29th was the last time I brought any fish home from the lake, but I have been fishing 27 times since then, only catching one or two per trip.

    Well I have only been a handful of times since then. And I have caught enough to clean a couple times. You just trying to make me feel good? Danny

    It's been the same for me here in Alabama on my home lake. They turned off at the end of July. I'm going brim fishing this morning. I have even considered puttin my casting rod in the boat and catching a few "green trout".

    I pushed cranks for two hours on Black Bayou yesterday morning and only caught one bream of some sort. Wish I had taken its picture. It had body coloring like a white crappie but belly colors like a bream.
