Been catching some nice fish the last week or so. Crappie for me have been biting about 10 feet down in 13 to 15 feet of water. Temps today were around 73 degrees. The last 3 days I have been doing better throwing jigs to the bank and bringing it back slow than I have with minnows, which I enjoy more so it's been fun. The evening has been the best because the wind has been less of the problem the last couple of hours of daylight. Also had a catfish pole in the water anchored to my dock while I was out in the boat tonight. My neighbor said he saw the pole bent way over. When I reeled it in the big snap swivel that the circle hook was on was straightened out. Must have been a heck of a catfish. And I was out of everything else so it was baited with hotdog lol.
