Default Finally made it back to Orange Grove

It's been way too long since I've gone but today with Linda doing something with her sister it gave me the perfect get away. I left the landing around 8 and had plans to catch some bass. I ran into some yesterday who told me he caught a gazillion of them a couple of days age so since I didn't have Linda to worry about, I could have all the fun I wanted. Well after about 3 dozen cast and not a hit, I cast near some weeds that were hanging around a laydown. Bam, sac # 1 but he got off. It only took me about 10 seconds to have my jig pole in my hand and catching. From that one top I pulled 4 and missed a couple. I went on down looking for the same kind of set up but they were hard to find. I did manage to find 3 more and call it a day. Plenty enough for me and Linda with some to spare. As you can see I forgot to take pictures before I started so 2 or them are already filleted. The larger 2 were a little over 11 inches. There stomachs were empty and I caught them on a black and white tube jig 1 1/2 foot deep below a float.
