Default Report:Fun in this Beautiful Weather! 9/14/15

I had the chance to get back out again today. Made it to the water around 0700. It was bright sunny but cool with a nice fog over the water. What a beautiful day it was and to get to go fishing was icing on the cake! Started the day off pushing jigs in 10fow at 1mph. Could not keep the dinks off of the hooks! I think the fish that hatched this spring are finally big enuf to bite because I don't think I have ever caught so many 4 inch crappie in my life! I noticed when I would turn right I would catch fish off of the left side of the boat, so I increased speed. Got to about 1.2-1.3mph and noticed the small fish started leaving me alone and started catching bigger fish. Then I got to thinking...I should have some bandits in the water since I was trolling at that speed. So I added 4 more rods out of the back of the boat fishing 25 feet back with bandit 300's. It didn't take long for the f[IMG][/IMG]ish to let me know what they wanted. So I took 2 of the poles I was pushing jigs with and put them in the back of the boat and put bandits on them as well. First time I have ever pushed jigs and pulled cranks at the same time. (6 poles in the front with jigs and 6 poles in the back with cranks, 2 with planet boards.) Was able to put a good mess of nice fish in the boat by the end of the trip. I had to change my game plan 2x to stay on the fish today. Tip of the day "keep changing until something works!" They gotta eat! Water temp was between 77-81 degrees! Fish caught were in 7-12 fow. I never broke a sweat the whole trip and there was just the perfect breeze! The day could not have been better! Days like these we remember forever!
