Thanks for the Ramp Link that will come in handy. Yeah I will be taking my time and going slow. Mainly because that seems to be my speed these days. haha

Welcome from Orange city. I also made the change to come back from middle Tennessee to central Florida for several reasons. Only one of the perks is the quality of the fishing here. All good advice so far. Be careful and have fun, and don't be afraid to ask anything that comes to mind. we all learned it once too.

Thanks skeet. My wife's allergies were a reason too. I liked TN and the 4 seasons but I think I will like it down here also. Have not done any fishing yet as all my stuff is still in TN. We found our house at a great price and it will close on the 17th. Once we get settled in I will get serious about the important things in life. haha.

As we have been going around looking for a house I always speak to folks we met and quized them on the area. Many have ask why we left TN as they would like to live there. Grass is always greener I guess. My wife wants to do some gardening and I can see thats going to be a big challenge.

Dunnellon (Dullellon) is a neat little town, used to be a great little barbecue place in an old gas station. I had some decent speck fish'n in Roeseau slow pulling down the main lake channel during winter months. Locals say you can catch'm by the dam but I never had any luck at that.

Fisch, Haven't had a chance to do much in town but shouldn't take long when I do. I am enjoying the lighter traffic but miss the conveniences. Still havent move in yet so we are still homeless for another week then we will start putting our things in the house . Boy am I looking forward to that.

Thanks for the tip on Rousseau I know I will be on in sooner than latter. I keep stopping not and again just to look and dont see much traffic on it. Lots of plant life. Only place I have seen channel Markers is by the dam.
