Latest addition to the docks at Grenada are the large tall black poles. Is it just me or does it seem to anyone else that the pole at an angle will take away ability of the dock to float?

If the poles are metal, it could cause problems. IF they are pvc, they should true themselves as the water rises and falls.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Maybe caused by the dock partially sitting on the ground, once the water rise and the dock floats, the poles will straighten.

Just like the float poles on the casinos in Robinsonville. They are sat at an angle upstream, the force of the water coming down the river will push the barges almost straight.
I guess they think the force from the lake will push the floats toward land to the right.
