High Rock 9-4-15
Went down to the rock fri. nite water down 4' water temp. 87. Stopped at Hendrix BBQ for super (best BBQ I ever ate) started raining while we were eating then stated hailing to. Stopped at Hills for minnows got to Tamarac still raining went across the lake got under hwy 8 bridge tried to dry out a little. Fished all nite under bridge rain was come n go we kept about 12 just keeper size 8-9" fished from 7 pm til 4 am storm was coming so we loaded our wet tired a--es up and went home. Caught one cat about 6 lbs. put him back. I've had better trips to Rock and had worse. Just nice to be on the water with brother we have a good time in any weather. If you are going to High Rock stop at Hendrix and eat if you want some killer BBQ my first time but wont be the last.

There are 3. One on Main Street in Spencer One on west innes st. in Salisbury and the original on hwy 70 in Salisbury.

We ate at the one on hwy70. Then had breakfast sat. morning on the way home there to. Fried eggs, bacon and gravy biscuit. Good food!!!!!
