CDI Electronics in Huntsville
Does anyone know if CDI Electronics in Huntsville is a retailer as well as distributor? I know they are the world headquarters so I am not sure if I can walk in and buy there. I need a new stator for my motor and would prefer to buy straight from them to get it quick and save shipping plus it would be easy to deal with returns since I drive by the airport exit everyday to/from work.

I had a buddy that ordered a stator and it came with the wrong connectors. He went to the hsv location walked into the lobby. Picked up a phone inside the lobby, there's not a receptionist, and called parts in the back. A guy came out asked him what he needed, he showed him the new stator and the old one then the guy took it in the back and fixed the connectors no charge. Not sure if you can walk in and order parts though. Seems like you would be able to though.

I called this morning and they do retail sales there but the prices are very high. For example, the stator I need is as cheap as $196 elsewhere online but the price CDI Electronics customer service gave me was $334. Needless to say I won't buy directly from them. However, they did say they service them there so if I do have a warranty issue or something along those lines I can bring it in myself.
