I am sorry to have to post that Jimmy Swanson passed away this morning. Jimmy was a big part of this board since 2009 and he loved to spend time talking with every member here. He will be truly missed here as he will be missed by his family. I have asked his wife Tracy and she agreed to us naming the Fall event in honor of him, he was the first to get this fall event going at lake Secession and I enjoyed working with Jimmy on these events. Our fall event will be "Jimmy Swanson Fall Event" and we will always try to keep this at Lake Secession. I know he will be there with us ready to share our day.
Tracy, your Family are in my Thoughts and Prayers,
Ronnie

Ronnie, I am saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. I don't think you could have done anything that would have made him prouder than naming the fall event in his memory. It is an appropriate way to honor his love of both crappie fishing and Lake Secession. I would also like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family.
Sad to hear of Jimmy Swanson's passing. I think naming the fall event in memory of Jimmy is an awesome memorial to him and one that all will greatly appreciate. Prayers and condolences to all of the family and to all of CDC brothers and sisters that knew, loved him and will miss him. Rest in Peace Jimmy Swanson.

Only met him one time couple years ago, heck of a nice fella. Lifting his family up in prayer at this time. I think it's a great idea naming the fall fest after him. He spoke highly of Secession.
Thank You Jimmy. You were a friend to everyone.
I would like to express my condolence to Jimmy's wife and family at his passing. May the Lord take you under his wing and help you to get through these tough times. That was nice naming the fall festival after Jimmy. I know he will be missed. Prayers for the whole family Don
