I am glad to hear that you and your father had a good day together. One thing is for certain, ya'll have a variety to choose from when it come time to eat. I believe I would have to go for the crabs. I don't get to eat them very often. Congratulations! I may have to come down sometime and follow you around.

Pastor, I usually give the crabs away. I eat about 2 a year but my mom and dad and mother in law and father in law love them so I have no problem getting rid of them. I mainly go for the shrimp and dad loves to go but can't throw a cast net like he use to so he goes along and crabs while I shrimp. Any fish are always bonuses! Now through the middle of October should be good so let me know if you can come down some time and we will get together.

Nice catch. I wish I could get out there. Between getting ready for hunting seasons coming it is tough to get in the salt water. Last week was deer lease, this weekend dove hunting and getting blinds ready for teal then the following week planting food plots. At least I will be teal hunting Thornwell and fishing the Mermentau in the afternoons next 2 weeks. I scouted the farm Monday and the teal looked like mosquitoes I just hope they are still there on the 12th.

Awesome trip Shadow! Nothing like a great day on the water with the ole man! I hope you don't mind, but i thought the sunrise picture was really good, so I straightened the horizon out and cleared the image up for you, and i was gonna post it back here so you could use it if you wanted to. But I don't know how to post images of that size to a thread. The image is almost 10M...and your original pic is 12M...Any help appreciated...

Man Gonfishn, that looks alot better than the picture I posted! Thanks! I was in the boat and moving and the camera is very dark and hard to see so I was half guessing when I took it.
