    Default D'Arbonne Bayou 8-31-15


    Went to West Monroe this morning and fished in D'Arbonne Bayou. Nothing to write home about. Kept 7 crappie and 3 green trout. Should be enough for a couple of messes if I can talk my wife into eating lots of taters. Caught them 10 feet deep in 14-16 feet of water. Shade was a big plus also. Caught all but one of them on my Silver Ghost. Sorry no pictures.

    Nice catch Pastor. My daughter can't eat fish so we always throw in some shrimp to our fish fry. $4 a pound right now. The Mrs. might like that.
