You've done a good job with that one. Easy to spot you from a distance.

It's been about 5 weeks since knee replacement and I am finally able to start piddlin' around on the boat again. It has been a "slow go" with this knee, but things are doing a lot better now.

Saturday I got brave (or stupid) enough to take the cover off and see what I could be doing. The boat had carpet on the gunnels (sp) and on the bow of the boat. I knew I didn't want to go back with carpet for the obvious reasons of it getting dirty, possibly slippery on wet days and replacing it again sometime down the road. So I decided to put something like a truck bed liner on there instead. So off to the parts store I went and bought a gallon of Herculiner. I put on 3 coats and it turned out pretty good....Tomorrow I am going to pick up the new Spyder Lok rod holders so I can see just exactly where I need to mount my trolling motor. It has a 60 inch shaft and I may have to cut a few inches off the shaft....Hope not....Where and how I mount the rod holders will dictate that...Hopefully I'll have the electronics mounted by this weekend and try to finish this project up!!!

I really love my Spyder Loc's,
in fact ordered 2 more sets for rear of boat............
Gene said he is expected a shipment in within next couple weeks.
    They are well built...
You are doing a great job on the boat - have been watching your progress and
updates. Its going to a work of art when finished........
    Thanks for sharing

love the looks of the Spyder Loc's on front / rear of boat.
The adjustable stem means a world of difference ...

You have done great job of painting and redoing boat- more patience than i can
    handle.

I'm still on mend from tripple bypass - can't do so many things that i want to do,
    body restricts me.
