Thought I would go back a ways for some jigs I tied. I think there are some older stuff I have, but maybe on my old PC or even older PC, LOL! I finally have figured out about how long I have been tying and it's a little less than I thought. I am thinking somewhere around 10 years. These ties are from my 2nd year or there about. The 2008 stuff would have been my 3rd year. Now I didn't have much to tie for anyone my first year so that was about useless as far as experience and back then we didn't have all the videos and such, it was all listening to others if you could find anyone that tied jigs to help. However there was FAOL and that was my key!

So here is one from 2009 I tied for a guy.
Couple from 2008 and notice no flash.
Flies From 2007. May add this Wasp was a good confidence builder!
This one was really my first of a new fly from my own little brain that was a good one! Someone at FAOL suggested I call it the Notre Dame Hooker and so it is, LOL!
Also 2007
One more from Early 2008

I remember seeing you post some of those in the past. I didn't come around til 12/07 so some were ahead of my time. They're all great looking ties, no doubt.

Thanks guys! Just thought I could show some of my more early ties I did while learning more and more. I spent a huge amount of time digging out info back then trying to find more things to learn. The 2nd and 3ed picture are pretty much what I tied most of the time back then for other guys and the flies are just what I wanted to learn so I did them in the learning process. I tied regular jigs for guys all the time, but when I didn't have something to tie, went out and found something I wanted to try tying and then did it. There are a lot of flies I tied over the years just to see what it took. Will try to find some more, but part of the trouble is I didn't use to keep my pictures labeled in folders except by date which makes finding some things a bit harder!
