    Nice job!
You got that right. Fished it often when we lived in Baton Rouge...but now we live in south TX on the Mexican border. It's a day and a half to get there!

The guy I work with and me are going Sunday afternoon to check out the Bayou Corne area. Haven't been in many moons. I gotta know. Gonna come in from Pierre Part Bay and work backwards and also hit Bay Alcede if time permits. I'll post Sunday night what we find.

Let me know what you find. I live in south TX now, but am passing through there twice in about a month. Was thinking of bringing my new Carolina Skiff and staying a couple of days (each way) at the cabins on Bayou Corne. We can cover a lot of water from that base camp!

My plan was to cover a lot and check water conditions and the bite

What a great report. More like that and I could stay home and enjoy and save gas.

Paul sorry for the late reply. Linda had her back surgery and I'm busy trying to keep up both house and yard.

I'll gladly join you even if it's for a boat ride, of course we sure could use JR for a guide. I can't go this coming week but after that I should be good to go.
