    Default It's been awhile.

I haven't been out fishing for about 6 weeks now just cause everyone has said its been slow and I have been busy too. My brother in law called me up Sunday and was wondering if I was going out, he don't get to fish much and he is recovering from a recent heart attack. I told him things have been slow and not very many fish have been caught lately. I said let me check the reports for the ville and get back to him. Needless to say I didn't hear anything positive so I called him to inform him of the fishing report but what the heck, lets go anyways. Got on the water Monday morning around 8:30 and fished til 2:30. Man was the sun sure beating down on us. We managed to get 1 limit and several other smaller fish too. I caught more than my share of those pesky little yellow bass too. All in all a great day on the water and as my brother in law thanked me for taking him fishing I had to thank him for talking me into getting my butt on the water.
Lets go soak a line. Pat

Glad to hear somebody has a decent brother in law to go fishing with!! Wish my mother in law was still around; she'd have a beer with you afterwards while watching you clean fish.

Enjoy your time with your brother-in-law every chance you can. My brother-in-law, who was also my best friend, died of a sudden heart attack last year. I miss him terribly.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Steve is only 2 months older that me. I have known him all my life. He is in alot better shape than me but he smoked, 52 is kinda young. We have hunted , iced fished, worked together and drank several beer together also.
he is one in a hundred that servive the widow maker and he worked real hard in physical theropy to just get back to work next Monday's, even by quiting smoking which he has done for almost 40 years. I'm just glad we caught some fish and to have a good time on the water.
