    Would differently be to go fishing every chance you can. Nothing can replace the classroom on the water.

    Keep off my boat,
    the fish got a GPS tracker on my boat and avoid it like the plague

    time on water to learn the migrational habits of crappie during each season. This will enable you to select depth/area of lake to target, which in my opinion, will greatly enhance your success. Then you can focus on the best technique to use to target the fish. Also, try to tag along with seasoned fishermen and glean all the knowledge you can.
