Come on over, usually a bunch will start to gather up at pavilion around 12-1 and start visiting while those who are going to cook get set up. Most that are going to fish will try to quit and get things put up around 11:30 or so depending how good the fishing is. It's a good time around a bunch of good people even if you don't fish that day.

I don't do desserts unless it's a fresh peach cobbler with lots of crust for the juice and low on sugar. Maybe a blackberry or blueberry cobbler if a peach cobbler isn't around.
I found a box today with lots of green and fuzzy stuff in it. Debbie said it was desserts packed from last year. I don't remember a peach, blackberry or blueberry cobbler from last year so I buried it in the garden

Jimmy you may need to bring your fish cooker. Will know by this Sat if we will be there for sure. Truck goes into the shop tomorrow evening. It has a blown head gasket and not sure if the head is good or not. If the head is good and everything goes good. Should have it back together by Thursday evening. And run it hard for a day or so so make sure its going to hold up. Sure plan on being there, but if the head is bad may take more time then I have to get it back going. Unless I find a new 5.9 24 valve head fast.
The head gasket let go on our way back from Harrison Bay. Guess I ran it harder then the 5.9 liked. HAHA

Will post back as soon as I find out for sure what is going on with it.

Pete....We will have the Cajun cooker there we have cooked with just it before and was ok....so we can do it again if we have to. But yeh, Jimmy is welcome to help fry the fish too if he wants. I have been looking for a couple of younger fellas to help the cooks too. Slabo will have a small cooker and will be cooking Blackened fillets on it. Sure hope you and your wife can make it tho, its always fun when y'all are around.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Pete, I'll be watching for a reply on this trip for sure. I know others said they could bring small cookers, can't find their post now. I have 2 jugs of used oil that need to be run through a filtering machine. Restaurants is the only place I know of and it would take a few hours to do that. If anyone can use it as fuel let me know, I use regular gas in my truck. It's $20 per jug at Sam's.
I can bring a new jug or 2 if needed.

Well our truck is not going to be out of ICU until Next Sat or the Following Monday. Got to get the Head to Doctor Monday. Then I'm sure all these fools around here will take 2 or 5 days getting it back out the door. So looks like were out for this year.
Marilyn had to run wide open coming home from Chattanooga. And the poor old Cummings had to let off some steam. Do head gasket let the pressure off the old head.. Can't figure it out was only building 37lb of Boost when she cummins apart.
If anyone needs our site will cancel it today. And as soon as I know where and when the spring dates are. Will be booking it.
Also looks like I'm going to be selling the Kodiak. Going with a Semi this time and see how it will pull the camper when its moving over 80 MPH.. And with the boat chasing the camper at the same time..

Sad part is was going to order a new Depth-finder next week. And now that $2000. if going into the motor. Shop Labor is unreal these days.
