    Tal, the only issue I have with people hiring a guide is that they kind of have an unfair advantage in the Big Fish Pot and for that reason, I will have to say that if you hire a guide you can not participate in the Big Fish Pot. I hope you understand. Just trying to be fair.

    If you fish with a guide, you hold one pole with one bait. How is that an advantage to someone using multiple poles with multiple baits. Just wondering?

    Because guides have information on the best brush piles that the MAJORITY of us don't have. If you use multiple poles with multiple jigs at Toledo, you will lose alot of jigs/shiners. When I fish Toledo, it is usually with one pole and one jig/shiner.

    But not everyone fishes that way. Oh well, based on the last couple years, we may have to shock some or gill net some to get a winner.
