Caught a 2 man limit of bass and 11 Sacalait. Bite stopped when the wind did. All fish caught and out 3 ft deep

Planning on making my maiden trip to Henderson tomorrow. I've got a map and a gps. I don't suppose I'll get lost. Is there a place near the landing under the interstate to get shiners ? I drove there a week ago to look at the landing and I didn't see a bait shop.

Bruce (prefers shiners) can probably help you coming from that end. I get mine at the gas station (can't recall the name - think it's a Shell station) in Henderson at the traffic light heading into the Henderson levy toward the private launches.
