WOW Larry, that's kinda suprising! I tho't you really liked your boat? What prompted the move up? Great looking setup tho!

I like it. Sits high in the water. Easier to get in and out of off from a dock, lots more room to move around. Dad and I always said it would be a great rig as you get older. No longer have to step down into the boat or vice versa getting back onto the dock. Plus, you have plenty of room to move around in it.

If you like to spend a lot of time on the water on any given day, many of us know how nice it would be to get up, move around, and stretch your legs. Awesome Idea. Besides, I think everyone from MICDC could spider rig off that thing! Seriously though, I wonder how many rods you could get off the front?

We had some service work done on the Mercury 30 hp. And we got to looking at them (you know how that looking around goes) next thing I know were pricing them out. I did like my boat, but hated that motor from the start. Always something needing worked on, so the change only took a couple days to decide on. We run it this morning and got 1 1/2 hours on the motor. Seems to have lots of power. Never had a Suzuki before. Trailers good, and loaded up good. As close as I could measure were about 10" short of the 75' tow limit. The dealer moved everything forward on the trailer and gained us 14" or we'd be over length. So far so good.

Were planning on 6 as soon as we can decide where to mount the rod holders.
