Mr. Paul glad you found something to your liking. Good luck and I hope your son ties into a record breaker.

Mr. Paul sorry I didn't respond earlier. I can't help you much in that time frame b/c I will be on a major outage at work. I wouldn't mind showing you around Big Lake (in south Lake Charles) but I only have a small boat, ok in calm water but not fun in rough water. I see you have booked one in New Orleans area, we have a member (FishinMagician) that owns a guide service there Salty Dog Charters, I believe. His name is Markham and he is an A + guy! I know he has been on vacation and don't know when he will be back but I would definetely recommend him in that area.

We had a great time with Captain Mike from Phil Robichaux charters with a limit of redfish. Nothing huge.

I think I may make a trip with my own boat later in the fall to the marshes because as long as I stay out of the wind I'll be fine.

Thanks to all that replied. Shadow, I may take you up on some Big Lake tips if that is the direction I go!

Glad y'all had a fruitful trip. Come again, and yes the fall fishing for reds is usually awesome.
