I bet not having the proper tools to change your spare is one of the most common mistakes people make. I know the lug wrench for my truck's lugs does not fit the lugs on my trailer. I keep a 4 way wrench in my toolbox but really need to move it to the boat somewhere in case its not my vehicle doing the towing.

I saw the coolest thing when I bought my boat 2 months ago. Gentlemen and his wife pulled into the campsite near me, he dumped the camper and left. Came back about 1/2 hr later with boat in tow. On the side of the trailer was a storage box. Mounted on the passengers side of the trailer and positioned as a step from the tongue into the boat. Step on tongue, step on storage box, and step into the boat. We talked briefly and the skinny is he puts all of his boat traveling gear in the storage box. Boat covers, spare bearings, grease, trailer jack, lug nut wrench, etc. When he launches, the tie down gear goes in the box too. In camp he pulls out an extension cord and chargers the batteries. I love the idea and will be adding a storage box to my trailer this winter. He said to me, everything I need for the boat and trailer is in that box, I don't have to worry about leaving it at home, or worry about it taking up space in the truck or boat.

AAAAAHAAAAA............. You can also buy a blank hull and build like you want it. I put some neat stuff on my Pondtoon. I can truly say my Pondtoon is not a cookie cutter model of anything on the market or aftermarket. Built in the USA in our driveway.
