Default Report: Chickamauga Lake crappie 8/03/2015

Ricky and I got out at 6:30 this AM to beat the heat. We fished until 11:00 AM. Our catch. 20 crappie with 13 being keeper size. 1 bluegill, 3 yellow bass, 1 largemouth bass, and 1 smallmouth bass.
We caught our fish on nearly every color that we tried. Fish didn't seem to have a preference today. Funny how some days they are so color conscious, and other days they will hit anything.

We caught two keepers on the bluff and all the rest of our fish came on off shore structure. Ricky loves to fish off shore as much if not more than I do. Fish were 15-20 feet deep and on stumps and bamboo hotels.

Dr Phil wants to go Striper fishing in the morning, so I guess that you won't see a crappie report from me then. Grin. Water temp today was 84.9 degrees. N wind was very light and current was fine. Not too much and not too little.
