    Default CLECO 7/25/2015 AM

Made the short drive to Cleco lake this morning was on the water at daylight, fished shiners in 12 FOW about 10 feet deep water was Cooler than it is in the evenings if you rember from my evening run earlier this week the water was 105 out there but this morning it was 94 in some spots. I found fish holding to any logs that was laying on the bottom would get hung up but I had a 1 once weight on the line for the wind so I would just give it some slak and the line would drop and it would un hang its self I did not break off once , picked up 37 fish by 10am I had one that was on the large to Extra large size so I did not have a scale I made a special trip to Academy for a scale and I was hoping for a 2 LB fish but to my surprise he was only 1.69 LB but still a nice fish for me Name: 20150725_160658.jpg

You had a good day; that's a nice catch! Your scales are like mine...always reads less than what the fish actually weighs.

Very nice catch. I wonder why there isn't much color on them?
