Took another trip this morning looking for some big fish in less pressured areas. Had Dillon with me that works for Crappie Masters. I got to show him up for a little bit until he got his hookset figured out. Caught several before some rough looking weather rolled in. Luckily it passed on over with no rain or lightening. Fished until 11 or so and caught a bunch of fish but no big ones today. Jigs tipped with minnow at 12' down was the ticket. Had to be in 15'+ or could not get bit. We wasted a couple hours fishing some good looking hedge rows in 8'-14' with no luck. Finally figured after all the water that's been sucked out of the lake that it had them in the deeper water. Dillon was showing off toward the end and catching a few with dead minnows behind a White/Chart Mid South tube. All my fish came on a 3 1/2" Mikes custom bait in Silver/Chart and Wht/Chart with a live minnow
