Thumbs up to the courteous fishing person.
For the first time ever or that I can remember someone asked if it was ok to fish across from us. We fished the mouth of a feeder creek to the MO River.. The green water from creek was mixing with muddy water from river. Was just tying up to fish when another boat came down to the river. He asked if it was ok to tie up across from us and fish out in the river. We said sure. He had two boys with him. He did catch a nice flathead while we caught drum. That was better than the last time when someone pulled up beside us and proceeded to cast out in front of us.

good deal, I always ask, and boy do I get some crazy looks, Oh and I never turn anyone away. has the water settled down up there yet?

Im guessing that you put in at colters? I think That guy was a fishing partner of mine as he said thats where he was going. I fished that area thursday and caught a 20 lb blue so there is more than just drum there. One of these days we are bound to run into each other fishing the same areas like we do. By the way be careful at that ramp or is been a rash of tires slashings and break-ins lately

Yes that is were we went. Thanks for the heads up on the buttheads doing damage. We never leave anything in the truck. We drive a grey regular cab Ford 4x4. One boat has a 25 hsp Mercury and the other 35 hsp Evinrude jet. Was going to this morn but with the rain and ended up going to urgent care with husband. He had smashed his finger between trailer tongue and bumper. It was infected and had metal sliver in cut. Water starts to go down in rivers then it rains again. Want the lower Osage to get down were gravel bars are out.
