All I clean are my racks....water pan.....and drip pan. Dishwasher works good. If you clean the inside of smoker the food wont taste right without the inside being what they call seasoned from the smoke.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I have so far just cleaned Grates, water pan and drip pan in bottom of unit. Just got through washing the grate and use a pot scrubber on them, sponge and dawn in hot water to clean them up. Have not attempted to clean inside of box but when I do I will start with a pan of water and dawn using a sponge that has the scrubber on one side. Shame on me but I have not done any research on how to clean inside.

The instructions that came with mine said to wipe the interior walls with nothing more than a cloth moistened with plain water. It also said to pay special attention to wiping the door seals.

I don't have one of those electric smokers, so really don't know. Smoke the old fashion way, which I do a lot, believe me. I put the wire brush to it on occasion and that's all.

I smoke the ole fashion way, and i know yall will look at me crosseyed, but i dont wash my drip/water pan , i cook it dry, then put it in the freezer. All them drippings are dried out, when you add water next time, you already have seasoned water to start the flavor rite off the bat.

Got my cover for it today and I'm going to give it a little cleaning. Thanks as usual for the tips!
