    Default Lower Amite River Sacs

Went 7-18 evening around 2 and fished a bunch of shady spots , grass mats an boat sheds . Didn't get a bite for the longest time . Finally found them under one house boat . Caught at least 40 and kept 14 . I used a 1/8 oz jig head with a white shad type jig with a curly chartreuse tail .

Great catch. Congratulations! Now, what were those GPS coordinates for that boathouse? LOL.

    Hey Choupic,

Thanks for the report. I like to cool off at the blind river bar. Gives me a little more time to fish before calling it a day.
