    you do what you gotta do.....someone stole my trailer "permanent" license plate once....and got another one halfway torn off before they gave up or were interrupted by somebody....it is now welded on....I will have a picture of the next thief....

    Night vision game cams don't provide enough resolution for the most part to do a facial recognition unless the high end units are used.

    Its running rampant these days. A couple weeks back a friend had loaded his boat and his wife decided the should do some more fishing but needed some beverages before heading out. Trailed boat up to a lakeside convienince store ran in got some drinks and snacks and trailed up to the north end of the lake to relaunch. After getting on the water, he discovered his new Onix-10 was missing.

    After filing a report with the rangers, he was told there had been a lot of similar thefts over the last couple months. He was also told the ones that were locked and not removeable had been broken beyond salvage. Since his was actually stolen rather than destroyed, his insurance should cover it.
