Hopefully bluegill reports count. We caught 25 good bluegill on crickets on Lake Conway. Boy those males are getting skinny!

I hit the lake at daylight (7-17) for a little dock-shootin! I am a devout single pole guy, but this method is quickly becoming a very close second! I caught this thumper on a 1/16oz Shinee Hinee in silver/chartreuse.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1437239079301.jpg

The Mississippi finally crested so I thought I'd check out one of my favorite "mud holes".
Pulled over the levee and found the road to the boat ramp under water. The river is 25 feet above the normal stage I fish. Just wanted to get out and look around.

Yep. Now it will drop about 2 feet a day til it hits -4 at Memphis.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Caught around 40 fish shooting docks with Cmj on an oxbow using hand tied jigs. Spanky got in on the action.
