    Has anyone put a thru hull transducer for the down imaging I'm hearing it has to be on the outside

    The only thru hull TD I know of is for 2D only on the birds. It shoots thru the hull.

    To my knowledge, there is no thru hull transducer for DI or SI. Suggest you check with David at Shut-Up-and-Fisn.
