if I may ask do you live or have a camp on LARTO? And I know I'm going to sound ignorant but is there a group to join that has LARTO fishermen and fisher women. Granted I'm not the most technologically endowed woman but I can sometimes hold my own. I went to the place awhere you can join groups and searched LARTO and came up with nothing. Any suggestions? I enjoy crappie.com but just looking for more specific sometimes sine we are here often. One last ? Were you here for the 4th. I never heard if anyone was hurt seriously in the fireworks accident. We were on the lake watching and I was so upset when I saw it. My brother was injured badly in a fireworks accident on New Year's Eve several years ago . My grandkids and kids and all in the boat were praying for those on land. Thanks for help

Not sure who you were referencing here but if you were talking to me my answers are 1. No I don't live there, I live in Lake Charles but I do love to fish Larto. 2. No I don't have a camp there, I usually stay at Uncle Buds when I go. 3. The only group I know of is Crappie.Com and we use to get together at Larto every year but that hasn't been the case the last few years (I AM TRYING TO CHANGE THAT!). 4. No I wasn't there for the 4th.
Come up and meet us for the gathering at the end of the year/ beginning of next year. We stay at uncle buds and usually have a pot luck dinner on friday night and a fish fry on saturday night. Come by and put names to faces.

Hello honey far as larto group there is none but if you ever wanta line up a trip I'll b glad to bring you r show you where the fish are! Now on the issue on fire work incident one person had 2nd burns but is doin ok now the other guy suffered some minor burns an I do own a 4 bedroom home on lake hopes this info helps

Honey Jam My wife and I also have a camp on Larto (backside of the island). I don't know of any Larto Groups either. I do know a few ladies that live there that would be more than willing to help you out. I was there for the 4th very bad deal. I was told that the guy that got burned was getting out of the hospital Tuesday.

Slab Hurter are you on the town side or the back of the island? If Fausse Point is your home lake we might be neighbors, I am from Youngsville.

Back side of island an to answer your question I grew right on spillway an fausse point as well
