    Default Fish finder questions

I am still looking to upgrade my ff. I want to get a hummingbird 859 down image and possibly a side image one also. Anybody have this setup? Can they be used together. Not necessarily networked but on the same boat. Which one would put where? Best locations for transducers. I have a 17ft G3 with 60hp yammaha

Call me, I'm right here in Madison. Can't claim to be an expert by any means, but we can sure discuss it. I have a Predator and went thru a bunch before I got it set up like I want.

I'll do that. May come by a look at your setup later this week.

I have an 899 and 859. Love them both. If I had it to do over again I would either go with the 999 because it comes stock with the HD transducer. The 899 does not. But..... if you get the 899, if you never take the transducer out of the box, you can send it back to humminbird with $100 or so and you can get the HD transducer. Be very wise to upgrade your transducer.

I've got the 859 and 899 on my boat. For the $$$ you can't beat 'em.
