Are there any bait shops close by or do I need to bring some with me?

How about the water levels? The Mississippi is high, is that affecting the water levels on the lower end of the Arkansas River?

Never been down there and was thinking of going down and checking it out.

Kent there is university bait shop that I use. The lady name is Mimi. She gives good count by the pound. Water is still little high.

Cool. Southern Pro makes some of them for Arkie. These guys all help each other. Lots of plastic companies make certain models for each other, or market their products under different names for different stores. Creme Lures at Walmart are Southern Pro also. Several other brand names too.

I'm not sure you will get an answer from most until after the tournament
I will tell you there are some crappie in there. Gotta look for em, but they are there.
