    Default Boat Fire


    I saw on Face Book were there was a boat fire over the weekend at the Moors resort marina.
    After texting with some friends I was told a small child was burnt. I do not know anything else. I don't know if they were local folks or people visiting Kentucky Lake.
    But I am asking that we do what we do as a great community of fisherman lets take a moment and pray for this young child an its family.

    6 people burned. Three flown to Nashville burn unit including the baby.

    I saw the smoke then had 2 life-flight helos come over headed to Nashville.

    Terrible situation. Prayers lifted up for all involved.

    Prayers to all. Nothing worse than burns as far as pain. I had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my legs. I also want to urge all to check their fire extinguishers in their boats. I was advised by our fire chief to carry a 5 lb extinguisher in place of the 2.5 lb. I had.
