    What is the best mapping card for Kansas lakes for my Humminbird a point in the right direction would be helpful.

    Lakemaster great plains version 5. I've had Navionics they have some issues with depth/structure not being correct.

    Yep. You can't go wrong with lakemaster. Plus it allows you to use all the features of the I pilot link if you happen to have one.

    Yea that's the direction I'm leaning towards I have the link so that will be nice I'm just going to get the auto chart for the lakes that lake master doesn't have on there list thanks for the input fellas.

    Auto chart would be awesome especially for the state lakes. I've been debating getting an onix now that you can link them with core units but that's a ton of cash

    I here you there I have the 999 at my console and im saving up for the onix or 1199. Can't decide if the extra cash is worth it for the onix, I need to find a pro staffer willing to sell his year old onix to make it a little cheaper on me.

    Realistically at this point, I am just saving for a 959 to replace this 797 that isn't Ethernet capable. Once I get a newer unit on the front I will be set, however an onix would be really nice
